Network Spinal Network Spinal (NS) is a gentle form of chiropractic care that releases stored patterns of stress from the body by activating the body-mind connection through a series of gentle precise touches along the spine. This method cues the nervous system and the body to wake up and reconnect creating greater internal safety within the nervous system and the ability to transform pain from the root cause.
Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) The goal of Somato Respiratory Integration™ is to help an individual develop lifetime skills, safety, strength, wisdom and love in relationship to the experience of his/her body, its vibration, structure, and energy. Through reconnecting a person’s breath, touch, focused movement and attention, they are able to experience the body more fully and instantly shift their state of consciousness to one that supports trust for the body-mind and their life experience.
Functional Medicine seeks to return you to optimal health and coherency while empowering your body to heal itself. This office is specifically focused on the body mind connection, how that shows up in lab values, and how we can provide support through supplements, life style changes, nutrition, exercise, and especially your nervous system. Our unique focus at CHWC is working with highly sensitive people and those who have "mystery illnesses" that other specialists and healing modalities have not been able to assist in achieving their desired health outcomes. Functional Medicine at our office is implemented as a holistic way of looking at the body, focused more on identifying and addressing the underlying causes and reasons for the symptoms rather than treating just the symptoms themselves.
It is a year-long transformational journey for sensitive individuals designed to help them move from chronic pain and illness to vitality. In the program you will receive support in the forms of: Functional Medicine, Network Spinal Analysis, Somato Respiratory Integration, and Health Coaching. This combination of care has been carefully curated to provide support specific to your nervous system and body-mind connection. At CHWC we recognizing healing as the hero's journey and are here to help guide you through the process.
Aikido is a Japanese martial art whose origins derived from jujitsu and the fighting arts of the samurai. What makes Aikido unique is its focus on harmony and love. This may seem like a strange contradiction however, the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, had an inspiration to evolve martial arts to the next level where the focus is on creating peace, harmony, and personal development through evolution of the practitioner. The focus here is to use Aikido as a vehicle to explore yourself and in the process, find greater harmony and love within. Class is taught personally by Dr Rick who has been practicing Aikido for over 30 years.
