Try Living Without Electricity - Impossible.
Have you ever had a power outage and suddenly realized how much you depend on electricity? I bet you have!
Electricity is part of our life in all kinds of ways, so much so we don't notice how much we use it. This amazing source of energy has completely changed the culture and our daily lives. Now we even have electric cars! (and now automated, self-driving cars!)
Imagine living without your computer, cell phone, refrigerator, lights in your house at night, your TV and so on. We can’t live without it.
There is a cost to your health
This wonderful innovation and technology comes with a cost. A byproduct of electricity is electromagnetic fields, or EMF's for short (AKA Electromagnetic radiation, EMR).
There has been a massive increase in EMF pollution throughout the world since 1990 from cell phones, wi-fi, smart appliances, computers etc.
More and more research is coming out about how this type of radiation is affecting us and it is more serious than we thought.
We can break down the effects on humans and other living organisms to four main categories:
1) Dirty electricity
2) Wireless radiation (Including Smart meters)
3) Cell phones and Cordless phones
4)Towers, Antennas, and Masts
Worse When You Are Sleeping
We are especially vulnerable when we sleep. Sleep is when the body is able to repair and regenerate itself (including your DNA!). People with chronic illness, the elderly and kids are especially vulnerable.
The documented health impacts
Research has documented the following impacts on our health:
· Heart Problems (pain/pressure, palpitations, arrhythmias)
· Fertility Issues
· Behavior/Learning Problems
· Concentration Issues
· Memory Problems
· Mood Issues (depression, anxiety, irritability)
· Sleep Disturbances
· Muscle/Joint Pain
· Leg/Foot Pain
· Fatigue and Weakness
· Numbness and Tingling Sensations
· Tremors and Muscle Spasms
· Sinus Problems
· Digestive Issues
· Skin Problems (itching, burning, facial flushing)
Wow, what can I do about this?
In upcoming blogs I will discuss more about each of the four sources of EMF’s and more specific actions you can take.
One simple thing you can do to reduce your exposure:
Turn off, un plug, and get outside!
AND educate yourself about the dangers and actions you can take to protect your health, your family’s health and your pets!
Knowledge is power - and your health matters.

A typical residential home uses alternating current (AC) electricity. AC is normally delivered via electricity transmission lines, which run along roads and highways, and is transmitted to local substations. These substations convert the electricity into direct current (DC), the type used to power household devices. The electricity produced at substations ranges from 120 VAC/240 VAC to 277VAC/500 VAC depending on the locale.
