I see so many people come in these days with serious health concerns. Everything ranging from severe anxiety and depression to cognitive issues to chronic fatigue to digestive problems, Autoimmune conditions and so on. Some of these people are young, in their early twenties.
What is going on? Why are so many people sick? Do you know someone who is suffering, going from doctor to doctor but not getting any better overall ?
Most conditions are multi-factoral in nature. This means that it is not just one thing making them sick, but many. Here are the main categories:
  1. Environmental Toxins
  2. Genetic Mutations
  3. Bacterial/ Viral load
  4. Stress
Any one of these alone is enough to destroy your health and quality of life. Put them together and you have "The Perfect Storm" that so many people are experiencing these days.
We will be going over each of these in more detail in the next few months.
The key thing is what can you do right NOW to help yourself and your family?

Western  Medicine is breaking down in this country. According to the World Health Organization, the US ranks 37th worldwide for its health care system. The health of our citizens is typically ranked last when compared to other high income countries.

Its time to Take your Health Back!

Step 1- Eat Healthy
There is so much conflicting information out there it is hard to know who to listen to. I find it is good to listen to your body! Keep it simple, don't go with the latest fad, go with the evidence. In our next blog post we will go into the latest research and findings to help you eat healthier. This will reduce your environmental exposure to toxins as well as reduce systemic inflammation (more on this later).
Don't worry, You CAN do this!!!!

Yours in Health,
Dr Rick
